This is a digitally painted poster for ‘Once Upon A Time in Hollywood’. Tarantino is my favorite Director of all time and I had the privilege of watching the movie on the big screen and was really excited when this brief came up. The artwork tries to evoke the mood of Hollywood in 1969. The Projector and the film represents the movie industry, and the main characters’ journey in them. The ups and downs of the film reel are a metaphor for the ever changing Film industry. The artwork was drawn digitally on an iPad using watercolor brushes on procreate to create the look of a Classic movie Poster.
